All lessons are reserved in advance for each student, so, if you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24-hour cancellation notice.


Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24-hour will result in a late cancellation/no show fee for driver education students or loss of the lesson for adults as outlined below:


Late cancellation fee: $45.00

No-show fee: $45.00


The lesson is automatically considered canceled if the student is 20 minutes late. In this case, the student is required to pay a $45.00 cancellation fee, as well as reschedule the date and time of the lesson.


If student does not show up for a driving lesson without notice, or made late cancellation, next booked lesson will be canceled automatically, and student has to pay a fee. The driving lessons cannot be resumed until the fees are paid.


If a student does not appear for a scheduled lesson or does not have his original permit (or necessary glasses or contacts required to drive), the $45.00 per hour charge for drivers’ education students or forfeit of the lesson for adults applies.


Lessons canceled at least 24 hours in advance or by a good cause, are not subject to a cancellation fee.


Cancellations by phone 617-993-3111 must be made during our office hours only, or you can cancel by email (Please provide Student's name and Time of the lesson). Sunday and Monday lessons must be canceled on Friday at the latest.


PLEASE NOTE: Students cannot be issued a Certificate of Completion if they hold an outstanding balance. All fees must be paid in full before Our Driving School can finish the 10 in-car lessons (for Driver’s Ed Students). Proceeding lessons will not be booked until such missed lessons are paid.


We will do our very best to reschedule your lesson for another time that is convenient to you.




Our school holds limited seating, and for this reason, we respectfully request that you cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled Class. This will allow us to offer your spot to another Student.

If a class is missed, it must be made up during a future course. Students will be given a schedule of next available classes offered for any class they missed. There is no charge for any missed classes but certification for insurance discounts requires completion of all classrooms and in-car requirements.


You are only eligible to receive a refund if cancellation notice is given at least 72 hours prior to the course start date. Should Our Driving School cancel a course, students are entitled to a full refund or enrolment in a future course.



The RMV does not allow double booking of road tests. If you have another test scheduled anywhere else, you must cancel that road test prior to scheduling with Ace Driving School to avoid being rejected by the RMV and to avoid the loss of your entire road test fee with Ace Driving School.


There is no refund for not properly canceling road tests or if you have been rejected by the RMV.


Road test appointments need to be cancelled three (3) business days in advance. If our main office is not notified, the student is responsible for full payment of the cancelled lesson.


PLEASE NOTE: If you fail your road test, you must wait 2 weeks before taking another test. You are not allowed to attempt more than six road tests in a 12-month period.
